In today’s world, humanity is experiencing a strange and scary period in human history. But if we learn from the history of our species’ triumphs in times of uncertainty, there is nothing to fear. Mankind’s thirst to overcome anything is our greatest weapon to pull us through this worrying time.
We all know the evil that lurks in our civilisation; for the first few decades, we didn’t know what to do with the visitors who have come to our world, and we still know little about them, but what we do know is that they are not here to be our friends.
We gave these visitors a name, and their name is Occupiers.
Occupiers come in different forms and are strange beings with unknown capabilities. Many of them vary in terms of body shape, looks and abilities. But come in two distinct species: Infected and Invader. This sketch shows what an average Infected looks like. As the name suggests, they are people who have looked into the moon for too long and the stars for too long. Either tricked or forced. At first, they look normal, which is the most dangerous. They can trick their victims into looking at the stars for too long, pretending to still be the friend or loved one they still know.
The infected then degrade over time into husks that roam the night. If you counter an infected husk, run immediately. Don’t listen to them. Their voices send their victims to a state of suggestibility and can control hordes of people and use them to attack others or bring more victims in to join the horde.
They serve Invader Occupiers and do their bidding. They are the foot soldiers of the invasion of our world. Infected Occupiers take over towns and cities in numbers in a slow process and turn places into homes of our invaders, only if they are not dealt with quickly.
To deal with Infected Occupiers, firearms and explosives prove effective; Infected Occupiers are agile and fast, so shots used to scare rather than kill are the best course of action. If you have no form of gun, then you should run. Engaging in fist-to-fist or melee combat is not recommended, as they feel no pain and don’t die as easily as humans do, so its best to get away as fast as you can and contact the authorities.
The other Occupier variant are the Invader speciace.
They are often large but in some cases almost the size as humans, but they don’t appear as often
But there is one last disturbance in both our world and Occupiers world
